Thanks for your information.  One more thing, would you mind tell me briefly about the interview performance of your daughter.  Did she answer all the questions very well ?  What questions were asked, and the answers from your daughter ?  Did she perform excellent, very good, good, fair, not good.......etc. ?  Please don't mind as I really want to know the interview performance will affect the admission greatly or not.  Or SPCC will count the academic results mainly.

Yes, it's a headache for all parents.  6-years education is very long term which will greatly affect the children's development during their growth up period.  So, the choice of a suitable school is the most important in their life.  

For me, I will not care about the money and would try my best to do it if my daughter has talent for studying as well as she likes the school.  Secondly, I might consider if it's possible to move my home convenient for her to go to school everyday.  It's really long distance between Shatin and SPCC, and 6 years !!

For HY, I don't think it's same level as DGS/SPCC, really ?  But you don't know until 7 July !!!

My daughter likes SPCC, however, the long distance is a problem (money is another key problem) and this is the reason for us to worry. We need to make the decison on or before 24/2.

SPCC has accepted my girl too. We are so happy and would like to share it with you all.
As I know, we have to give up applying govenment or subsidized schools if we accepted SPCC offer.
We're also worrying for the travelling from Ma On Shan to SPCC.  Any ones live in Ma On Shan studying in SPCC ? May be we can book a taxi for going to school. It is much cheaper to share with 5 students. Is it difficult to find school bus?

bobo231, This is btk_whw. My daughter will enter SPCC in coming year. We live in Kowloon east and think we will move to HK side so my princess does not have to travell long to school. If your daughter travells from Ma On Shan, I think it will cost almost 1 hour. Will it be good for her?
Just my little opinion.

Thanks for your opinion.
You are right. I'm still not sure whether it is good for her to travel that long. If SPCC is really a good school, may be it is worth to do so. We are still doing all the research to find out.  At the moment, the feedback is quite positive. Most of the SPCC students are happy though school life is not easy.
We can't move as my elder girl is studying in Shatin. It is not fair for her to move to HK side.

本人也替小兒申報了此學校, 但因他小五只是全級第二, 所以沒有得到學校提名. (因學校只提名全級第一). 希望3月7日有得interview. 現想請各位家長傳受一些interview經驗, 希望如果有得in, 到時表現會好一些.

從City one坐88R到金鐘轉12A >如屋企係近88R站 係最好選擇   如住一城還可以申請半價乘88R,但不能用八達通,要入錢

My daughter does. I think leo_lee_in_hk's daughter does also.

我覺得轉一次車會比較舒服, 如果未到繁忙時間, 交通會暢通d. 我地在mtr都要轉2次, 再轉12A. 我都會check下有無bus直去金鐘.
