事關重大,與其在網上估下估下,不如直接向教育局查詢,小弟剛剛發了兩個電郵給教育局,第一個電郵問:
1. Does EDB define MYP and IBD as “local examinations”?
2. Will EDB limit the number of students in Creative Secondary School going for HKDSEE and IBD? For example, at least 50% of its students have to study curriculum going for HKDSEE?
第二個電郵全文如下:
Li Po Chun United World College
Dear Sirs,
With reference to the EDB website,
http://www.edb.gov.hk/FileManager/EN/Content_175/schlist(fees)_e.pdf, Li Po Chun is a DSS school charging $110,000 as school fee and $82,000 as boarding fee.
According to an EDB document (http://www.edb.gov.hk/FileManage ... dmCir210-2001-e.pdf) clause A (ii) in the page 2,
“the DSS income banding system is revised such that a DSS
school will continue to receive full recurrent subsidy from
Government until its fee level reaches 2 1/3 (two and one-third)
of the average unit cost of an aided school place (X). Beyond
this level, Government will not provide any recurrent subsidy.”
I would like to ask the following questions.
1. Does the “fee level” in the above statement refer only the school fee or both school fee and boarding fee?
2. If the “fee level” refers to the school fee only, I understand Li Po Chun United World College is qualified to receive full recurrent subsidy from Government. However, if the “fee level” refers to both the school fee and boarding fee, does it mean Government will not provide any recurrent subsidy to Li Po Chun United World College?
Thank you for your kind attention.
如教育局回覆小弟,定必向各位報告。
