Interview response is the most important, not exact age. Of course, 3 mths make a lot of difference in maturity already, hence slightly older children may perform better.

Some schools require good knowledge/ information base, but others such as St Paul Co-ed, DBS etc emphasises a lot on expression/ storytelling. My suggestion would be to do 5 minutes storytelling with your child everyday + prepare some common question answers (eg how do you spend yourweekends, how do you get to school etc) closer to interview time. I understand that for DGS, portfolio ie certificates and awards are v important too.
