In the afternoon of 12 May 2008, an earthquake measuring 8.0 Ms strike Sichuan Province in China. It has claimed the life’s of more than 69,000 residents, with 368,000 injured and tens of thousand still missing.
The 512 Sichuan earthquake has
tore apart countless families but destroyed many schools. Huge numbers of teachers and students was killed in piles of rubble from the collapsed "tofu"(unstable)
school building. Thousands of children who survived the disaster are orphaned and living in despaired.
