另外, 小妹在教授小朋友的時候, 不論是幼稚園還是小學, 他們都開始有一個閱讀計劃, 讓他們提高英語看,說方面的能力!

ipa的符號中有一些音是經常被視為懶音之用法,

也就是說, 一些英文字中的詞語或一個英文詞語在不知不覺間已經被表達了出來但我們是不知道的.

學了ipa的符號, 進一步學的是stress form/weak form等(前面有提及), 這些是不用查字典,但需要學習.

舉例: him
strong form : /hɪm/
weak form:
/ɪm/

her
strong form :
/hɜː r /
weak form:  /ə r /


這些看似簡單的詞語，其實表達上也有技巧要注意的．
如果學生可掌握這些技巧，那他們便可以在口語時使用這些技巧，像外國人一樣；


聆聽時明白這些特別之處，也不會懷疑自己為什麼總是聽不到外國人說什麼了

IMO, it is not difficult for a child to memorize those IPA symbols.  To get IPA knowledge is so useful and helpful for All Ages to improve their abilities of  listening, reading and spelling English.

Write a blend  "ear" as an example.  Its sound is either Long E or Long A.  ( hear /  bear) .
Providing you learn the KK or DJ already, certainly U can pronounce these 2 words correctly according to their individual IPA symbols.

Add one more exception word "chef " to clarify, as a child who knows the Phonics (自然發音法), he would sound the word with phonemes /ch/ /e/ /f/, but he should sound it /sh/ at the beginning of the word " chef " .  The kk and DJ  symbols show you the perfect way to say it distinctly.

Recommend that your child to memorize the rules as well as the spelling of BOTH the Phonics (自然發音) and Int'l Phonetic Alphabets (國際音標 KK or DJ ).  It is a useful tool to learn English.

小妹相信用不同方法學習不同知識的人大有人在, 而小妹的分享只是想帶出一個msg：小妹是用類似的方法學習，　亦取得一定的成效，在與小朋友交流（補習）時，也發現這個方法是可行的，　因此，小妹亦會以這個方法繼續．

當然，如果上到小學或中學，有好的老師會挑出一些較細緻的地方再加以教導是好的，但我們並不能完全擔保，

所以，在小朋友有的資源下（如他們已學了ｐｈｏｎｅｔｉｃｓ），我亦希望他們能進一步運用這些知識，學習更多！

APS是 P1 to P3 教 phonics,P4 教 Phonetics.
聽聞SMC 也是Px 教 Phonetics.

時代不同了,在錄音帶年代,要重覆聽一個音要十秒,現在用電腦不用一秒吧!
