If rental services are available in Macau, I would consider renting for a period of time first cause kids are quite unpredictable, sometimes they play/ learn for 6 months and would not want to pursue. $20,000 is quite an investment. I would buy only if the child is definitely going to keep playing for years.
Also, if 2nd hand pianos are available, ask your piano teacher if he/ she would go and choose one for you. I know most teachers would be glad to do so.
