My son should be band 1 too, ranked within top 15 in school. Hope you will receive letter soon.

He is currently with Raimondi. We have selected St Joseph and King's in the discretionary placement round. Our problem is whether to accept St Stephen's now, which means no more chance for discretionary placement or wait and give up on St Stephen's now.

Hi, Onearth Do you mind sharing which school your child is and how will you decide on discretionary placement? Have you spoken to any parents of existing students and any feedback on new DSS approach.

Yes. But the problem is uncertainty. Chances get accepted by St Joseph and King's is a big questions mark ????

The government system seems like protecting the DSS school.
