我兩個囡都係由1歲半開始返英文playgroup,所以都習慣晒無家長向身邊啲日子. 亦都習慣晒同外籍老師相處. 我大囡家吓都4歲半, 依然有返個間playgroup,咁當然係返K2小朋友啲課程啦 !

雖然 Chincco得個2歲5個月, 但佢已經識好多嘢架啦, 連尿片, 每隻手指, 五官, 動物, 顏色....等等啲英文都識晒, 已經認得晒A-Z....

jjagogo你可以考慮吓比囡囡返吓英文playgroup, 我覺得真係好好架.

佢哋剛剛出左暑期班啲課程, 你哋可以去試吓先.
我細囡家吓返mon-fri (9:30am-12:30pm), 大囡返 Wed (9:30am-11:00). 我亦會幫大囡報暑期班.
不過細囡遲吓要返協恩k1上午班, 我打算安排佢返playgroup下午班, 返1個半鈡.

Thanks Chincco for your kind information.

As you mentioned Joyful mainly uses English as the medium of instruction, can your daughter handle the kindergaraten interview (since I understand that most kindergartens will use Cantonese/Mandarin to process interview)?  Do you need to do any translation to help your daughter during interview?

Since my daughter is currently attending a English playgroup and she will be enrolling kindergarten by this year (she is now 2 yrs 1 mth), I am wondering if I need to change to other nursery which uses more Cantonese/Mandarin?

我細囡返playgroup係全英文架, 因為係外籍老師, 但返到屋企, 我哋就中文, 英文都有同佢講, 就好似cup咁, 我哋會教埋佢cup=杯.
但你問佢, 佢就會答英文囉. interview個陣我都有同老師講,佢英文好d. 但我就失策左, 老師用中文問佢叫咩名, 佢就唔識聽, 咁我就用英文再問佢囉.
就好似interview協恩咁, 家長都無得陪小朋友入去interview,點幫佢翻譯喎. 我兩個女加埋都interview左唔少幼稚園, 但就無幼稚園要用Mandarin喎.

So you mean teacher will allow you to do translation (provided that your daughter has interview together with you), right?

You talk to her at home in Cantonese, so it is enough to handle interview right?  If so, i will consider to enroll courses in Joyful also and train her more Cantonese at home.

我囡囡大部分時間都係講英文, 但佢識聽中文架. 我哋向屋企就中英文都有同佢講. 覺得佢interview個陣都ok喎,
全部都識答,識做, 只係當時interview其中一間幼稚園啲時候佢只得2歲 (佢12月出世架), 個miss比左兩個公仔比佢, 問佢邊個係boy, 邊個係girl,佢鬼識咩, 得個兩歲人仔. 我就同佢間playgroup講, 佢唔識分boy & girl,過左無耐, 佢就識啦.
你哋又係住荃灣架 !

i live in Shatin.  But I still want to join Joyful coz of your positive recommendation.  Do you have other recommedation besides Joyful?

Is it the only nursery your daughter joined before kindergarten?  Have you tried others?

我個friend見我兩個囡向Joyful讀得唔錯, 佢住向九龍塘都個個星期六帶亞囡返Joyful. 我之前唔知邊間好, 傻到
向荃灣南豐中心, 一層一層咁揾,仲走去同d等小朋友放學啲家長傾吓計, 又陪埋囡囡試堂. 我陪囡囡都返過3,4間playgroup架啦, 但到最後都係返返去Joyful. 其實偷景新城都有好多, 不過我就無試過. 因為有兩間我去問資料啲時候, d工作人員好似咩嘢都唔知咁, 嘩 ! 好驚囉 ! 有間幾大架, 留左資料比佢, 連電話都無個回覆比我. 咁無誠意, 點放心將個心肝寶貝交比佢哋呀 !
南豐有間都唔錯, 如果你想要資料, 我返屋企揾吓, 但我已經成年無去過, 唔知仲係咪咁好, 你自己可以去試吓堂 !

Does Joyful offer trail lesson also?  I definitely want to try it.

May I know more about the playgroup from you?  Can you roughly tell me what are the activities offered every lesson?  Say story telling etc.....

Re another playgroup in Nam Fung, just let me know if you have time to find out the information.  Thanks again for your help.

你小朋友幾大呀 ? 我有佢哋Summer program啲資料, 你比個e-mail 比我, 我e-mail比你睇啦. 暑期班就應該無得試堂啦, 不過你可以打去問吓.
其實佢哋返Joyful都好似返幼兒園一樣, 會唱吓歌仔, 玩吓遊戲, 仲會學埋Phonics, 有茶點, 要學排隊洗手, 有間playroom比佢哋玩吓..........
我細囡連每隻手指個英文係咩都識講, 顏色, 動物......樣樣都識d啦 !
我今晚返去揾埋南豐個間d資料比你.
我哋好似離左題, 不如你發訊息比我啦 !
