My son was born on 25 Sept 06.  Same  like your situation.  Will not accpet my application but will put me in the waiting list.  In May and June then early Sept, I keep writing letter to the 主任 and also gave her the letter personally.  My son secured a place when it comes to Oct.

Give him some time to fit the environment.  Told my son that he is going to sing and play with the friends.  Sometimes they just simply saying no for everything.  Don't forget they are now 3 and learn how to reject stuff.  Cheers

If it is really cold, you can even wear your cloth, my observation from the last 3 years.  Though I have never tried so as my girl is someone isn't afraid of cold.  She often takes off the jacket.

I don't know how much they have learnt for the English class but my son can sing and say the word form the phonics book so I assume they play the CD and teach them phonics in the class.

Yes the kids enjoyed themselves very much.  Even when I came back home tonight, my boy is asking me when they will go to the zoo again.  This is a good experience to them.  I think I will reflect this to the teacher.  Not sure if the school could arrange another one next term.

I checked the photo of my girl - they went while they were in K2.  I think at that time it is only once a year and in K3 they once went to the beach and to the quarry bay park for drawing.  But for the beach outing, they did not invite parents to go but just helpers.

I don't mean the maid.  The teacher will usually approach the full time mum for help so I am also not on the list tough .

Just returned from a long Christmas break.  Happy New Year to all of you.   First day of school today - my son does not want to wake up and he feels very sleepy (side effect of a long holiday)  :)

Yes, my relative who is a doctor also told us not to take the swine flu injection. So we haven't done that. My kids have been ill on and of ...

I just watched a news from Taiwan that 17 people died of swine flu injection -  but do not know if they are vaccine made locally or imported.  

I think if I could wait, I rather wait.

From the last 2 years experience, the teacher will promote with the children so the teacher can understand the students more
