各位聖心家長點睇?? For mums wishing to send their girls to聖心, you may be interested to read the school report of 2007-08 at www.shcc.edu.hk/info/report0809/2.pdf
particularly:
p.20- destination of S5 graduates (6.59% in 07/08 went to full-time post-secondary/vocational training course );
p.24- attainment of students in HKCEE (only 71.04% of students in the school awarded 14 points or more in the best 6 subjects); and
p.21- destination of S7 graduates (only 56.48% in 07/08 entered local universities)

The results are really disappointing.  But it seems that the students performed much better in the last two or three years.  I am curious to know why there is a sharp drop in 07-08.

Then, will your daughter study in SH private (or subsidized) section in the coming September?

我女兒本來讀sc既, 因為轉校長既原因, 黎緊9月會黎讀sh, 呢個數字我係另外一版copy落黎, 有d驚訝及擔心。

I think the performances of students do vary year from year.  Since our daughters are just going to SH for P.1, it's very hard to predict what the secondary school will be like six years later.  

So, what concerns me most now is whether SH will still stick to four formative assessments and one examination each term.  According to SH parents, they have just started this system this year (they had 2 tests 2 exams each year before).  Of course, some students and parents can't cope with it and find it really stressful.

我都認為呢種情況好正常,
始終唔係dgs, 皇仁 ...
呢類學校的公開試成績唔可以expect 佢一定年年都好叻,
即使 st paul convent, st stephen girls 都係一樣, 間中一年出過一個狀元之嗎 ...
不過由於聖心考8科, 所以唔會有狀元姐!!!

我係St Clare 舊生，基本上入 St Clare 應該是冇問題。

2間我都留咗位，該選邊間好呢?

Should choose Sacred Heart, I am also a clarian, my girl is in Sacred Heart. The overall standard of SH is better.

  but ur girl also come from SH keindergarten?
  do u also know which kindergartens do  SH pri school AM like to recruit beside their SH kinder?
