My kid's studying in P.3. One of the topic in English lesson was about what they wear. They had "fashion show" and had to introduce to the class what their partner3 were wearing.

In Maths lesson, they had role play of "buy and sell" in order to learn the calculation of money.

Those are examples of their activities based learning. They use textbooks but not just textbooks. They have planned activities facilitate the students' understanding.

The fact is that my kid enjoys her school life so much. She has lots of friends in school. She has so many extra-curriculum activities. But to be honest, this is a busy school.

p.s. They did sit in groups in P.1-P.3.

Their wind band has outstanding result this year.  Their percussion team is also very strong. I think it's worth to learn in the school as the students will have stronger sense of belonging.
My girl was learnig percussion but I haven't decided yet for my younger girl. May be she will join in the 2nd term. Better get use to the academic stuff first.

The school bus will arrive at school early, usually before 7:45am. Some of the the students have to arrive school early in order to practice the 英詩, or supplementary lesson for TSA (P. 3 & P.6). So that's why the school bus is a bit early.

至於校服, 我都未諗掂, 我都預校dress兩條, 但體育衫就唔知, 但如果一個星期上一日體育課, 一套都ok啦~~

"Katherine Woo" is also one of the hot choice in Shatin. It's quite difficult to compare which one is "better".
Congratulation for getting a place in a school that is "suitable" for your kid.
My friend's kid is also studying in "Katherine Woo" and she feels it's suitable for her kid, too.
So, do stick to your choice and your kid will have a happy school life either.

I'm a bit nervous whether my kid could cope with that in p.1.
Anyway, it's a good news as it would probably improve her Putonghua skills.:D

You can join in 2nd term.
They have the lesson in Sat pm, so, won't disturb the academic too much, I hope.

hello montana, nice to meet u on sunday:D

we've joined the clarinet, english activity and western dance.

my kid's enjoying school very much and she said the teachers are very nice and the class is fun.

but she seems to be very very tired when she wakes up in the morning. and no appetite for the breakfast.

My kid's clarinet class also starts tomorrow 3-4pm.
The parents have to attend the briefing at 2:45pm.

I choice either flute or clarinet and finally assigned the clarinet. May be many chose flute.
Did you gals tick flute as first choice?

Good news!
In my daughter's group, we got the 2nd and 3rd.
Seems we have very good results in the P. 4 girl solo this year.
Thanks for the teachers' and girls' great work.
It's my daughter's first year in this competition and she got the 3rd. She's so excited and decided to join again next year.

We have been joining the walk for a few years.
May be it's too far away, there are only a few families who will join the walk.
See if we will meet each other in there.
