暫時唔見有歐洲同南亞裔人士教, 每cycle只有2堂NET教oral, 希望高年班的老師會唔同啦, 因囝囝由英小上, 有d唔慣, 佢話覺得老師講得好辛苦, 又句句加"啦""呢", 聽呀仔講完好 .

小學部d英文老師好好多喎, 就算係中國人都完全無香港口音, NET往年都只得一個.

上到中學, 大家唔好expect靠老師, 唔係點會出邊d補習天皇咁好生意呢

"小學部d英文老師好好多喎, 就算係中國人都完全無香港口音" sorry........ I doubt it. I believe some of them were eduated overseas. Unless they were born overseas, they could hardly get rid of their accent.


無香港口音 is consider as NET, I think speaking with香港口音 is fine provided that pronunciation is correct and fluent.

補習 is another issue, I always think 補習 is time consuming . Is it nessarary? What do they teach in  補習 class? If they just teach the same thing which has been gone through in class, 補習 is really wasting time. I always tell my son to pay attention in class. That's it.

I heard 補習天皇 is for exam techniques.

One thing I'd like to clarify is that I am not saying any of the teachers are no good. I just query their eng proficiency. After all, it is an EMI secondary school.

我好認同你以上文章，但事與願違，我都想知道在香港其他全统中學可不可以做到這點？
老師用心教書，學生用心上課，那放學後就不用重覆去補習社學同一樣東西，時間好用很多，學生亦開心很多。
他們返全日的時間比在家的時間還多，放學後，再去補習，一日學習時間比返工還長。
中學階段6年，最辛苦可說中三，科目最多，有些學生連補6科，中、英、數、Phy、Chem、Bio.. 難怪開心指數降低，壓力+青春期 = ......

After losing the overall championship for 7 seven, we are finally the champ again. We are the champ of 2011 Inter-School Athletic Meet.

It was very exciting. The overall champ came down to the final event, A Grade 4x400. We were leading by 6 1/2 points at the time. What we needed to do was not to let DBS be better than us by 2 positions. We ended up winning the 4x400 and DBS finished 4th or 5th. We won!

DBS should actually have won the overall easily. But one of their B Grade 4x400 runners forgot to take off the warm up black t-shirt in the heat in Day 1 (DBS supposed to wear white tank top with the red word DBS in front). The rule stated that all members of the relay team have to wear the same uniform in the race. So, DBS’ B grade 4x400 team was disqualified. They lost at least 20 points due to the disqualification. If their B grade 4x4 team was not disqualified, DBS should have already won the overall champ. I feel bad for that DBS B grade boy. DBS may kick him out of the school, or at least life time suspension in DBS’ Athletic team.
That DBS B grade boy was a student of Choi Hung Catholic School last year. He was invited by DBS to join DBS this year because of his good running record in last year's Athletic Meet. May be he forgot which school he was representing and thus forgot to take off his black warm up t-shirt.

Good if that boy's kicked out of school. Then, DBS  can go and ask if 劉翔's interested to join their  athletic team to be the new 省港旗兵.

Last year, DBS was second to none. This year, they are second to one. Hurray to our LSC home grown champions.

從小六班主任口中得知, 2011年過到馬路嘅多過2010年, 實際多幾多個就唔清楚, 或者如果你地家長會有講嘅話, 麻煩上黎報告吓

甘,2010有多少人過了college呢?如果我有新消息一定會在回報的.
記得大約6-7年前.我的一位波友就說喇小入書院越來越少(當年他的大仔讀college,細仔讀小學3年級),但他說他不會轉校,因為喇沙的意義不單是讀college,而是整個教育理念都是他喜歡的,當然,他也是喇沙仔.
據說2008年大約有60%.是另一家長說的,她兒子是2008畢業的.
