There is another option. Take MTR to WanChai, exit at exit B1 and change to bus 23A. This is the route I took when I brought my daughter to school. But she was in AM class.
The reason why I chose this is:
- my daughter felt sick easily when she took minibus. We'd tried taking #56 at the beginning for about 2 weeks and she vomitted 2-3 times.
- no need to cross the road after get off from the bus.
- For the walk from MTR platform to bus stop, Wanchai MTR station should be shorter than Admiralty and Central.
- 23A takes a shorter route than 23
- 23A is not crowded and always has seat.

The drawbacks are
- 23A has very few bus. I'm not sure if they can be on schedule in the afternoon. Morning schedule is OK.
- 23A goes via Central and there maybe traffic congestion on Queen's Road.

To clarify, for "traffic congestion", I mean during noon time. Morning time is of course no problem....
