Tonite I arrived home late and Calix had slept already (actually it's Por Por who told me about his homework).  So I didn't have chance to talk to him about what happened in school today.  Now I understand more about your feeling...it's hard for full-time moms to ask about/know our kids' school life...

thanks to everyone, otherwise, I would not know whether it is one side or both sides. As you know, kids sometimes are quite forgetful. When they come home, they may not remember what teachers said inside classroom.

Hi  all,
Got some updates from my son this morning about yesterday's schooling:

- reviewed number 0 to 10

- Ms. Suen told a story about going to school

- recited a Chinese rhyme (with body movement, very cute!):
幼稚園裡排排坐
一起拍手唸兒歌
讀書寫字共遊戲
樣樣學來樂趣多
呵呵呵

2 more names mentioned:
柏喬（Paco)
金(or 殷)崇禧 (a girl)

Also my son said he's in group 1 and there are 6 groups altogether.  he said group 1 & 2 at table 1, group 3 & 4 at table 2, group 5 & 6 at table 3.  Don't know if it's true.

I agree with Vianca's mom, thanks to so many good & kind parents, we keep each other updated on what is going on inside the classroom.

We should keep this chatroom filled with lots of info going forward.

My son said they'd done grouping today.  He belongs to 星星組.
My son told me the followings but don't know how true it is.  What about your kids?  Which group do they belong to?
星星組: Calix, Max, Ethan, 劉浩輝...
太陽組: Lawrence, Paco...
月亮組: 心妍...

They'd art & craft lesson today...making a human-shaped work (with their own face).

My son was very happy today coz they had played in the tree house.  He said they need to wave hands to other classmates & teachers even if they are not in the same class (he mentioned 1A, 2D, 2O, 2I...).

Also, the teachers told them not to see mamies & daddies going to toilet...boys should not see girls going to toilet and girls should not see boys going to toilet.  Start to have sex education...haha!!

My son also said they need to 起立...then say, "Ms. Lee午安, Ms. Suen午安, 各位小朋友午安！"

Also the teachers taught them to say， “2009年x月x日星期x" everyday.

They'd also learnt to write their class name & no.

P.S. should be 高崇熙...and 葉楚翹 is in K2D instead of K2H.  She's also on Red school bus as my son.

exactly, my daughter can remember some, but not to the detailed extent as your son, amazing kid.

My son was born in August.  I would say he has a good memory instead of being smart.  Also, as I'm a FTM, I have a lot of time to chat with him.

What a coincidence!  Most of our kids are in 星星組.  Hope they can be good friends soon!

Today they'd reviewed & read aloud A to F according to the A-Z alphabet card..."capital A, small a, an apple, an aeroplane...etc."

The Chinese word card "晴" was taught.

They played in the tree  house today again. My son said 高崇熙 hurt herself when playing in the tree house.  I asked if the teachers brought her to have first-aid and he said they put a band-aid on her face.

My son told me that Max was from K1E and there's a kid called Bosco.

Yes ar!  My son said Group 1, 2 & 3 from day 1.  I thought that's the preliminary grouping as the group names are so generic...

BTW, any one of you take the kids to school?  Really want to hea ...
