KTS的結果很有代表性嗎?(誠邀過來人分享.謝謝^^)

本人兒子就讀ST.CAT，已作非正式統計，由k1至k3同學當中與及分校所認識的同學的同學....中，能入到2nd in的人不多，聽說不少平日表現出色的學生(成績+課外活動)均不入2nd IN。是否過往太多ST.CAT學生註冊後放棄學籍，因而為KTS帶來行政不便，故此索性大量削減收生人數。另外，我亦從其他家長口中聽到，"都不知是否將CCKG的學生列入黑名單，很少學生入到2nd IN！"，你們如何看待這件事﹖

I think these are just rumuors. My daughter and her two classmates got through to the 2nd in and they go to St. Catherine's ,but I also know one of her friends who is also studing at SC and has a older brother studying at KTS didn't make it to 2nd in.  So how to you explain that.

從兒子老師口中得知，過往KTS一向都大量收SC學生。但情況並非如此.........
我認識SC學生之中，10個只有2個進入2nd IN。

I think all school not just kTS like to take smart(or at least appeared to be smart) children. It's also rumoured that Good Hope like to take SC's students.  But I think there is no direct link.  ki8ill

Dear Gooddaddy,
I did not fail all interviews but only got accepted by DGJS.  All I was trying to say is you can not justify by how smart the child is by stating how many schools the child is accepted. I still believe the interview is a teacher's subjective judegement and it also depends on a bit of luck, eventhough my daughter was accepted by a number of so called good schools. I was trying to say my daughter was accepted by a number of good school, but sarcastically not accepted by KTS. This happens to all her schoolmates. On the other hand, the one rejected by almost all the schools she applied, but accepted by KTS.  I also can not see how they can tell my daughter is smart by the way they interviewed my daughter. (I meant all the school's interview, not only DGJS)
By the way, I have no connection or old girls or any how.

Very interesting to hear that.  It seems KTS prefers to take above-average students instead of the best ones.  Maybe they knew the best ones will eventually not enrol with them

don't think it's true, I know several SC's kids has entered to KTS's 2nd interview.

聖士提反都出現阿哥係度讀緊,但係吾收細佬,好似因為個阿哥成績&操行吾好;
每間學校都有自已既收生標準。

幾位小朋友所能講的﹐大概不會差距太多。  但老師們在觀察什麼﹐他們不一定看的出。

睇黎你都幾幫間學校。
明人不做暗事，本來在我心目中它做排第四，不過in完當日我和我老婆講，除非阿仔沒學校收，否則收都唔讀。Interview時已如斯不滿，我驚第日會搞到阿仔。

十分同意上文內容。
本人為兒子IN了8間學校，暫時有兩間公佈結果，分別是GT和KTS，前者取錄了小兒，卻不獲KTS接納。要待其他學校公佈結果才能推斷KTS的收生取向。

我早已想到這點, 所以我沒有參加面試班, 沒有操佢甚麼面試提, 我喜歡佢自由發揮, 要教的平時都已教了,一個正確的答案未必係老師心目中攞到高分的答案, 醉翁之意不在酒.

有四間RELEASE左結果..
GT - ACCEPTED
HKUGA - SECOND IN
KTS - SECOND IN
SMC - SECOND IN

其實我同亞仔之前報左成12間...有三間都未去..我唸我唔會去lu, 因為起碼有一間已收..仲有三間second in在手..廢時罷晒d 位..

都估到實有人問呢d問題，總有人唔接受人地批評自己心儀的學校:D

就係有2nd in先講，費事俾人話吃不到的是酸嘅。

我只是想說，呢間有得2nd in比起其他學校更加有幸運成份，冇亦唔需要唔開心，當抽獎抽唔到囉。:loveliness:

算啦，本來都唔想講咁多，既然有人唔肯面對現實，我收口吧

其實, 不論有沒有2nd interview, 我想我們都要相信我們的小朋友已經做到最好, 比以前的我們更優勝.  況且, 學校面試同我們的工作面試都是一樣, 不成功不等於我們無能, 只是未遇見懂得欣賞我們的人, 努力吧!
