I know someone whose brother is already studying KTS but he himself didn't make it in this first round; it seems the school emphasizes great importance to the interview itself.

What's next, 550 children are scrambling for 120 seats??

My daughter also had given the interviewer her drawings award certificate.  My daughter told me that she was asked to answer what is 3+3 and what is 10+10, both of which she answered correctly.  She was also asked to draw a picture about a dog knocking over a drink on the floor....She got through the first round.  Not sure if we (parents) will pass the 2nd in though.  I really llike the campus and the interview was very well arranged

good for your. I would'nt mind faililng all interviews but got accepted by DGJS. you daughter must be very smart. you didn't have any connections with DGJS (ie old girls), did you?

may i ask which boys' school interview did your son attend?  as far as i know, the ones who got through the 1st round were interviewed for 30-40 minutes.

I think these are just rumuors. My daughter and her two classmates got through to the 2nd in and they go to St. Catherine's ,but I also know one of her friends who is also studing at SC and has a older brother studying at KTS didn't make it to 2nd in.  So how to you explain that.

I think all school not just kTS like to take smart(or at least appeared to be smart) children. It's also rumoured that Good Hope like to take SC's students.  But I think there is no direct link.  ki8ill

Very interesting to hear that.  It seems KTS prefers to take above-average students instead of the best ones.  Maybe they knew the best ones will eventually not enrol with them

I did not fail all interviews but only got accepted by DGJS.  All I was trying to say is you can not justify by how smart the child is by stating how many schools the child is accepted ...
