I tried to ask the school about the no. of candidates going into 2nd in and the no. to be selected.  They said it was confidential.

I was hoping, similar to CKY,  they will list all application # so that we have an ideas  how many kids are shortlisted for 2nd in.     Anyway, I believe the odd for 2nd in is 1 out 3.

My son was running up the stairs and in the corridor with his typical laughters.  I was very mad...  I thought if there were any teachers around, he would be out right away.  But to my surprise, he was shortlisted.  So, I feel more comfortable with this school... But to be fair to him, i believe he did OK especially when he told me that he tried to read some difficult words by using phonics (he hid different parts of the word to pronounce the sound). maybe this earned him additional points.  I can tell this school places high emphasis on the Eng proficiency of the candidates.
My son studied at an Ok kindergarten in K2.

我相信起码多一倍 300 (YW) vs 600-700 (TSL)，但最后入读的就差不多。
