當初你揀SMC . . .

1) 豐富英語環境、活動教學、中英數科目按學生能力分班(achieve effective learning)、現任家長對學校正面的評價

2) 相對其他學校唔算谷

3) 暫時未有

4) 仍會選 SMC，雖然我亦很喜歡 Pui Kiu，但距離我家太遠，當時沒有報考。

Regarding the Chinese reading, there is some changes this year.  You only need to write down 40 book titles of Chinese book you read in one term before.  Now, the students are requested to complete 15 reading journals.  The requirement is more demanding this year.

Dear tinkerbell,

中文 reading journal 的要求今年開始有了改變(從前只需記下中文書籍名稱40個，現在需要完成15篇 reading journals，問題設計跟 spiderlily 所提及的英文 reading journal 大致相同)，一年需要完成90份(15 x 2 subjects x 3 terms)，這數量對我來說是頗吃力的!

囝囝一向不抗拒閱讀，但不是手不離書的一類，我不知道大部份同學是否會在 recess or lunch time 閱讀書籍。他曾高興的向我展示由學校 library 借回來的一本 chapter book，他告訴我很多同學皆想借該書籍，我不肯定他是否真的看懂，但他會逐頁翻看，可能是多人爭看的原因，他會特別珍惜。
