Sacred Heart accepted my girl's p1 app admission

My daughter is now studying P6 in SHCSPS.  I keep on hearing people saying that SHCSPS has much homework and heavy workload.

I would like to say that this is not the case from my experience.  On average, my daughter has only two or three assignments per day so she can finish them within an hour.

Regarding the half-day school matter, my daughter has her extracurricular activities in weekday afternoon so that we can have our family time on Saturday and Sunday.

I can see my daughter and her schoolmates having smiling faces.

I agree with your comment.  In last Satursday's Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System briefing meeting, SHCSPS urged the parents of P6 students to choose SHCC as their first choice.  It is sad to see the P6 students leaving the family.

I dont think so ..... coz BPS, QC, SJC and some traditional famous sch on kln side  are not DSS... but still they can sustain their academic level ...

i think i would choose SH ... coz it's in cent ...

The table that I've posted regarding the HKCEE 2009 Examination Results for the named school is to echo your statement saying that "it's obvious that SH's academic performance is dropping tremendously these years."

Below information is obtained from SHCC's Annual Report:

	6科14分佔
Year 2006	79%
Year 2007	81%
Year 2008	71%
Year 2009	85%

If most of the top SHCS P6 students can go to SHCC, SHCC can perform even better.

My daughter doesn't join the ECA provided by SHCSPS.  Since this is a half-day school, my girl's after-school activities are in week-day afternoon.

I have no statistics on how much Extra Cirrucular activities the girls normally have after their schools.  But like other children in Hong Kong, it is common in SHCSPS to have after-school activities.  My daughter has four.  SHCSPS is not pushy on either ECA or getting inter-school competition awards.
