國際班是全英文加普通話.
class teachers will mostly non -chinese teacher, but not necessary native english teacher.
as for the primary school. it really depends on which type of school you are target for your child.
be aware that international stream does has less homework and more role play activities.
however, if you want your child go to english dss or international school. being study at international stream may help for the interviews. as most of the time, these schools are looking for some expressive and dynamic children.

Thank you.
我想問下, 國際班是否全英文加普通話, 班主任是否外籍英語老師? 同埋讀完之後會否好難銜接小學呢?

hi mianyang,
it was a real battle during the P1 application period!!! fortunately it's done. and our son get an offer from Po Leung Kuk Camoes Tan Siu Lin Primary School. our first choice, so we are really happy about that!!
our second son will join the P1 battle in 2 years.... another stress period may come.
i think our sons enjoy going to tivoli and willing go to school with interest did help him a bit expressing himself during the interviews.
i think even more in the international stream as there were only 8 pupils/class.

Hi, so would you please share with me which Primary school you are targeting for your son? And do you think Tivoli international stream help pave the way to getting a place at this school?

i was there for the elder son's N1 interview, but not the second one.
it's was a bit messy for him as well, as he doesn't know a lot of word in chinese... so he was a bit shy as well.
the teacher asked him to pick up an apply, a banana... actually she ask some very simple question to see his reaction. most of time we are making translation beside him... because he did know many thing in real life, however, not enough word to express.
yes, i do think he has got a bit luck on the P1 interview as well!!!
knowing that tsl has 3000 applicants this year... for only 175 places....
heard that it will be even more when the time for our second son apply for P1.....

You are fortunate that you sons were not born in 2007 or 2008 becuase many kids were born in these two years, making the competition really keen to get into a good nursery/kinder.

Can you reacall ...

ummm.... unfortunately, tsl is one of the few dss which refuse to have such policy for the P1 application....
unlike st paul or diocesan, there is no place to fill in the application if your child already has brother or sister studying at school.
they emphasize the fairness which is good....

Hi, thank you for your reply.
but now that your elder son got admitted to TSL, does it make things easier for your younger one, i mean he may have additional " marks" in this regard.
