唔需要，如果有內容係有中無英或有英無中，可以用原本o既語言黎打，例如你用英文做portfolio，但有個比賽只得中文名，就可以將比賽o既中文名打落去。

我個portfolio一d勞作都無，全部係用電腦做，事關我地同阿仔畫畫同手工都超弱，叫佢寫o下字還可以。

我見有媽咪用 Illustrator,CorelDraw,真系慚愧，聽都沒聽過。

我做得好簡單，用Excel打表，同埋將scan左o既資料排o係d工作表，每一類別資料，用一個工作表。

想請問portfolio要用file裝住架？我仲諗住搵釘書機釘埋D紙,咁個信封咪好重?要去郵局寄? Sorry,我第一次做,好無知!

不過我知d學校係有頁數限制,所以應該唔會好重而要去郵局寄.

我見有學校講明話要用釘書釘釘好,
所以我諗唔駛要用folder呀

嘩~~ 份portfolio好似做project 功課,
現在考小學真係仲難過自己去搵工

睇左咁多媽媽意見, 我歸納左一個論點, 就係唔做profilo唔得!! 不過又要點做才可以簡而精,媽媽又唔駛咁徬徨,咁有壓力呢?!
我自己諗住做5頁紙,底+面=10版野
第一版係封面:做少少手工+張全家幅
第二版係'序':點解要揀呢間學校,自己理念之類,sell下個仔
第三版係個人資料+家長資料
第四,五版係學校k2,k3成績
第六版係課外活動列表,得獎列表
第七至十係d cert 及獎狀

請大家多多指教!

Some school like YW also request portfolio only allow bind by a stapler.

First of all, I am not a mother.

Some schools only allow 5 pages (not 5 sheets of paper), so you have to be careful.

People usually write a cover letter in the place of your Page 2 and the cover letter is not included in the page limit as it is not considered part of the portfolio.

Cover - as the child is the focus of the application, a picture of him alone may be more appropriate.

課外活動列表,得獎列表 - some need 2 pages to include all the major activities and awards.

Arrangements for other pages seem to be quite sensible.  

Make sure the words in the certificates are legible, or you will have to highlight and enlarge the key words by retyping it somewhere else in the page.

Last year, I bought 7-8 folders, but I could not use any of them because all the schools my son applied for only let us staple the loose pages together.

Submit the portfolio with the application form.  If you plan to submit the application in person, you need not send it by post.
