2010 -2011 校車 - 新界線

收到新建議路線真是赫了一跳.

新界只有兩個站, 大學同大圍..

據我所知現在同車的, 可能對兩個站都未必合適.

而我就重要早過之現在出門口先可以準時上到車.  去到大圍站出得去中旅, 都差唔多到左旺角..

都明白站頭統一可減車程..但這兩個定點是否可令有需要的人受惠呢?  

最怕係令到其他家長放棄校車以至組不到路線.

打左去學校, 佢話可先交表同寫下要求同意見, 希望多d人會比更好建議啦.

情況唔係好樂觀, 我地而家旺角校舍又唔識將軍澳校舍家長, 好難搵人一齊夾, 唯有靠校車小組做中間安排.

而家小墨魚6點半起身, 已經好早, 如果大學站, 可能6點3起身, 6點半要落樓, 行去車站, 唔可以預到咁"蚊水"7點先到大學站, 要校車等..... 咁我真係會放棄, 小朋友太辛苦, 咁就唯有自己帶佢地返學 有校車等於冇校車.

I agree that we must apply first regardless of the proposed route.  My son is taking one of the Kowloon routes but my current bus-stop disappears from the proposed route for next year.  According to the proposed route, the closest bus-stop is 15-minute taxi away from my home which is almost the time I needed to travel directly to the MK campus.

agree, the current arrangement is designed to discourage students to join certain routes (bet the same can be applied to any route the vendor do not want to run).  There leave little/no channel for raising comments or opinions.

And I requested them must take initiating to inform all parents that we can actually apply first and then state their needs.  As currently, the higher school bus fee + inappropriate bus station set up, would definitely make some parents giving a second thought if to allow the kid to take school bus or not.

I really worry that the new route can't attract any new student to consider for the school bus.  And they only limit the route to NT but not extend to the kowloon spots, it is very possible that we don't have enough people for this route.

"站頭統一可減車程", it benefit only the vendor and the family who live exactly at the 站頭.  

Point-to-point pickup and drop off is the reason why students take school bus.  
I doubt the vendor has the sincerity to keep certain routes.

can't agree more!!  Just called Ms Chan at MK, raised my concerns and told her the arrangement will benefit nobody taking the route.  She told me to sign up first and said will get back before 1st wk of July.

Ms Chan didn't disclose exactly how many new G1 students are on the NT route, she hinted not much.  Even if we all choose 大學站 and Taiwai, they can still kill the line because we have under 10x students.

I agree we should all sign up first, but also start considering what other options do we have:
1) get a regular taxi to pick up and drop off the kids,
2) divide the minimum 10x fees among those of us taking the route,
3) suggestions??

我去年都一直咁搵, 但都找不到..一般都話唔做散的, 又話夾唔到其他學校時間...

我明白旺角校舍只有不到三百名學生，並且分佈各區，不可能照顧每一人的需要。但如此大刀闊斧的統一站頭，是否還有足夠學生乘坐，我十分擔心。
