I would say:

1. Sleep early and get up early.  No more after nap;

2. Look after his/her personal belongings.  Learn how to tidy up his/her school bag;

3. Learn to eat his/her own lunch and tidy up the utensil;

4. Must know how to clean up himself/herself after going to the toilet..........

I think the top kids were born with the abilities to do well.  For the middle majority, a little help may change the position in the form a bit.  Remember, your kids has your genes.  You'll just have to accept who he is, no matter good or bad.  Pressure is from your own expectation.  Accept your kid's standard and give the best help you can is the way to go.  The right attitude towards studying and self-confidence is more important than marks.
