My son tried Frog, Dr Kong, Buster, Adidas, New Balance, Nike, Elle, Japanese brands, etc.

I think u hv to check the 'foot-shape' of your child first e.g. wide/narrow, big/long 腳趾公, 腳趾尾, 厚/薄肉, 腳踝,腳背腳彎度, 腳板平...

My exp:
Dr Kong not gd for wide foot, 厚肉, 腳背腳踝彎, 腳趾長度平齊
Nike not gd for narrow foot, 薄肉, 腳板平
Elle too soft, 容易變形
Japanese brands (e.g. Thomas, 超人) not gd for wide/fat foot

So different shoes for different foot. 揀啱鞋形, 仲要揀比較襟踢既鞋頭 (esp for boys), 軟硬合適既鞋底, 仲要防水防滑....細心去揀, 唔駛3個月就換一對咁傷!

My son now is wearing Paralellei (Germany) leather-shoes and New balance sport shoes. So far so good. I bought the Paralellei (有弓位,送厚墊) at 千色店, around $130-160/pair. U may hv a look.
