Tomorrow is the 2nd day of Hkssf swimming(D2)  competition of SFXC. The result of the 1st day seems to be O.K.Hope the swimming team to have good results!!!

The final day' s result of HKSSF swimming  is good and sfxc will remain in D2. WELL DONE!!!

My son is in Form 3 but I found that there are so many subjects in the examination. For example I.S. it took 3 different papers(phy, chem, Bio). On the other hand, I.H., LS, RS are not easy to study for a form 3 student. Totally, there are 13 written papers to be sat in this exam. Do you think it is too hard for a form 3 student? I should image even mid band1students can manage well (let alone the bottom band1)!!!

I don't mean sfxc is band 1 bottom. My meaning is even the mid band 1 students can't manage well for 13 written papers in one exam(almost as many as DSE).

Next week, there will be hkssf athletics meet (D3 area3) and my son will represent SFXC to participate  on the track event. But, the school doesn't have any training at all. How can the school get good results  without any training? Actually, I have suggested to the Vice Principal to put more resources into the athletics team during the parents meeting.What a shame that SFXC was demoted from  D2 to D3 this year.

how you know the school put resources into the athletic team? At the moment, my son doesn't have any news for training
and it is only  2 days to the HKSSF athletic meet. I don't expect SFXC is good as LS or even Wah yin in the athletics but at least have some training before the competition. Bear in mind, the HKSSF athletic meet is very  important  event to some elite schools(not just DBS, LS).

I don't think SFXC will turn into a band 2 school within 5 years because  cutting to 4 classes of most band 1 schools in Y.T.M area.There will be very difficult for band 2 students to enter SFXC(may be there are fewer than 20 band 2 students can enter in the lucky draw). For most band 1 boys selection, their  1st choice usually takes Wah Yan and 2nd choice is SFXC. Therefore, the band 2 students' chance to get into SFXC is so slim.

The performance of the 1st day of the HKSSF athletics meet of SFXC seems good(rank no.2 amongst 50+ schools).

As you might not know most of boys with good results have training by some other athletics clubs. My son could get into the track event final as I sent him to join the training course by HKAAA and SFXC never offer any training before this meeting.

Vincent you are so humble!! It is not big deal not realize the whole situation of the athletics team of SFXC. But, what I think SFXC is even better than bottom band 1  school and I should image it is in line of mid Band 1 regarding to the academic result.
By the way, today's Inter-school athletics results are good and more likely can get into the top 3 among  42 schools.

After 2 days of Inter-school athletics meet, SFXC is rank no.2 and I guess it stands great chance to be the champion.
Boys, tommorrow have to work hard and good luck to you all!!!

Today, SFXC has get the champion of Hong Kong Inter-School Athletics meet(D3).Well Done Boys !!!

Next year, SFXC will be back to D2. Many many congratulations!!!
