The deadline for application is end of April. MCS will inform you the entrance exam date in early July if there are vacancies.

I believe MCS requires good performance in the applicant's academic performance.

Yes, outstanding academic performance is compulsory, is outstanding/special talent a must??

Hi Monita,

Yes, written exam is on Chinese, Maths and English. For Maths, it's conducted in English.

I am not sure if special talent helps. My daughter is not outstanding in any particular activities.

Dear WaWaMom,

It is not easy to make decision between Maryknoll vs TSL because Maryknoll is such a famous school.

I believe that you are the only one to know which school is much suitable to her daughter.

I can't say that TSL is very good, but at least it is above-average have certain reputation and most importantly, it can offer our kid to have a balanced development within a multi-cultural environment.

I am lucky than you because I only need to consider to accept TSL or wait for next June's lucky draw.
It is easy to give up because we don't know what school will be.

My husband and I give a small gift to my son and say Well Done.

Both DGS and MCS are top schools. According to MingPao's survey for 2003, a MCS student gets 2A in HKCEE on the average that is very good. St Mary gets 0.94A only. Belilos gets 1.3A only. DGS never discloses its average number of A gained.

No doubt DGS should be excellent as every year they have 2-3 students having 10A. But bear in mind MCS students enrol 9 subjects only in HKCEE. So I think DGS and MCS should be similar in academics.

But in ECAs like sports and music, DGS is definitely ahead of MCS. You know, DGS absorbs the top elites from P2 to F6.

我想，平均2A是可遇不可求之佳績。Belilos 也曾有一年平均1.8。ST Paul Co-ed有幾年平均2.0以上，但今年好象也没有公佈成績。

St. mary或真的不及MCS，但St Mary好象校風纯樸一點。看看MCS近年出名之校友：B嫂、李嘉欣，Gigi。到底MCS出了甚麽事呢？

ＤＧＳ都有個莫文蔚，我又唔覺有何不好喎，除了Ｄ嫂比我感覺好折墮外，李嘉欣，gigi都無咩唔好丫。
