I graduated from WYK decades ago.  Most of our old boys agreed that it is worse than before in terms of academic achievements.  We guessed it might be due to change in school policy (just guess).

Besides, the reduction in no. of bands was unfair to schools and students.  So most of the reputable schools have changed to DSS.  Hopefully they can recruit quality new comers and have more resources.  My daughter will start her S1 at SSC.  Of course, I hope that SSC can improve further after it has changed to DSS (actually it was a private school before 1978).
