I hate the book reports a lot!  The concept of reading books is good, but why they need to put so much constraint on the format of book reports.  I hope the teacher can realize that the students did not learn much from the book reports.  They are just the burden of the parents.  Do the teachers understand that quality is more important than quantity?  

Those students who studing in Government school can plan to have activites on holiday, but we have never ending homework to do.

我地星期二、五學PIANO, Wed - PTW, Thu - Swimming, Sat - 補習, Sun - go to church.  每日放學好似趕鴨子咁，食少少嘢就做功課，做做吓又要出去學嘢，校服都無換，返到屋企就决定沖凉先定食飯先，做唔哂就食完飯再做，跟住温默書測驗，坐响sofa 一陣就叫佢練琴啦！又要練吓 piano oral.  跟住迫佢早啲訓覺，this is our life, poor girl.

幾時先可以約你地玩呀！

如果日日留在家做功課做Project, 唔好去玩,出去食飯,唔好睇電視......., 就可能做得哂嘅!
Book report絕對唔易做, 要睇左report要求先再去搵書, 頁頁唔同, 本本新奇!

今日份中文都好考腦筋，又要做maths project, 細佬又有maths project, 個printer 都好唔得閒, 現在要叫kfc. 聽日要同細佬温Eng Dict, Japanese Quiz and GS Quiz, 家姐温中默. 我真係有點血壓上升.

Eng profolio, 諗都未諗. Book reports 要擺埋一邊.

最緊要合格就可以繼續上五級......八級就功德完滿! 佢剛剛開始操考試歌, 睇下佢彈成點先報考試, 功課忙都少左彈琴, 所以佢成日比老師鬧!
中英讀書報告都未開始做, 我一拿本report出來叫yoyo做, 佢就話好眼瞓 ...

Stephanieshum,

Our teacher is saying Book 1 Ch. 4, Book 3 Ch 1-4, which one is correct?  We are now teaching Ch 2.  We have GS lesson on every Tue, Thurs and Fri.  Probably, the teacher needs to finish one chapter in one lesson, giving us the workbook on next Tue, so that we can have the quiz on Thurs.  Is that what they want?


"Date: 28/10/2010 (Thursday) Coverage: Book1 Ch.4, Book 3 Ch. 1-4 "

GS quiz includes Book 1 Ch 4 and Book 3 Ch 1-2 only.

Our class spent a lot of time on complaining the punishment from the teachers before lunch and  school end.  We have expressed our feelings regarding the workload individually.  The teachers asked what we have to do on hand.  We told them we have Chi, Eng, Maths projects, 10 English book reports and 15 Chinese book reports.  When they heard about the quantity of book reports, one of the teacher O 哂咀, it seemed they didn't know we have so many to do.

Did you mention your situation to your class teacher last Fri.?  We complained a lot about too much workload to their class teacher.
Do you think they will listen to our opinion and change ...
