around $220 per hour, 6 kids in 1 group. Any experienced parent can tell did your kid improve spoken Eng after such course? Besides preparing for interview, also want the teacher help improving kid's Eng communication skill.

i didn't enroll any "CCKG interview course" before coz I knew the spaces were limited, some of the spaces must reserved by some famour person or related person, so I just treated as an experience.
That day, I went to CCKG with my son, we went upstairs, sat out of the Principle's room. I counted only 2-3 minutes per interview.My son's interview took 3 minutes also.
I was wondering how could the Principle could access the children's ability in such short time. Of course we didn't get any offer. I knew the children got the offers, their parents are Doctors, teachers or high position in government. I do believe that school decided who will get the offer before interview, not really depends on the ability of the childres or performance on interview date. The above just my opinion, not against to anyone CCKG students or parents...thanks.

The critera of Mrs. Fielding:-
1.) A reference letter from a big guy
2.) Either one or both the parents are Celebrity
3.) Kids are extra-ordinary smart.
4.) Parents / sisters are old boys/girls from famous school.

why bother with interview class?
chance of getting in is slim anyway but i think it is a good interview experience
just let them kid be themselves
i don't think taking  interview class can improve one's english so fast
good english takes a long time to build up i would rather spend more time teaching the kid myself every day to really prepare him for life in future ahead , not just for 1 interview

I agree that fluent oral English skill is the basic criteria of the interview.
Agree that children with siblings in CCKG, DGB or DGS have priority, as this is also stated on the form.
I went to submit the application form, there are thousands of people there, so the chance is relatively low.  But I think I just take this as an experience.

i considered it a complete waste of my $ and time with one of their K interview course, though not the cckg one. parents i talked to are not happy as well. the particular teacher is not caring; spent a lot of time writing comments insteading of interacting with kids; and by the work the child did in class, you know.. hahaha..

i seriously considered skipping the rest of the classes after the first lesson. but i'd say they offered the class for parents who'd feel better after they sent their kids to these targeted classes (like me previously), which btw, a majority were brought in by maids, meaning the parents would have little idea of the environment and interactions on site.

it's about supply and demand, the classes exist for a reason and those considered it valuable by name will attend nonetheless.

My kid attend none of the interview class. No preparation at all, but got admitted.
Good English is a must.
Also Parents need to be excellent in English because all school notices are in English. Even verbal communications with class teachers are mostly conducted in English.

how do you prepare him at home then?  Do you speak english to him at home all the time?
