Paper used to print Portfolio

Hi,

I suppose most parents will have 1 - 2 pages of photos / scanned images in the portfolio.

So you will print
(1) all pages using normal A4 papers,
(2) all pages using photo A4 papers, or
(3) a mixture of normal and photo A4 papers?

Some principals may consider it not environmentally friendly (e.g. principal of St Paul's College Primary School  http://happypama.mingpao.com/cfm/study3.cfm?File=20100831/prepc/shc2.txt).

I believe that as long as the portfolio demonstrates the true sides of your kids, there is no need to make a costly and beautiful one.  After all, the interview performance counts the most.

My son is still in K2. When is the portfolio needed? In September of k3 year or in June (term end)when 2nd lottery results are out and I need to 'knock door'?

Supposing your son has just started K2, you will need to apply for a 2012-13 P.1 place as early as June 2011 (e.g. 優才 set "7 Jun 2010" as the deadline for 2011-12 P.1 application).  For "knocking the door", it would be something to be done after June 2012 in your case.
