did you apply RC? any comment on RC & SLS, which one is better?

我有apply RC, but RC 要求收咗就要放棄 lauky draw, 我又唔係好想. SLS就無呢個問題.

SLS 既室外活動空間好大, 好正, 老師都好 nice. 不過啱啱換咗新校長一年左右, 唔知佢好唔好. 會唔會好亂...

而RC 就好新, 又變咗男女校, but 唔知依家佢d 教學係點, 以前就谷得好厲害 & 好傳統.

兩間我都係貪佢有得直上. SLS 中學雖係律校, but 好似都有過半數收返.

but 暫時兩間中學成績都不算突出, 一定要比既話, RC 好過 SLS一點.

may i know when is st louis deadline for application summit?

why you guys got the interview time so fast? if that they will give you a time immediately after hand in the application?

yes, once you submit the form they will give you the time immediatly.  Deadline for application should be on 15/10/2010.

我都有同感,RC到目前為止都是好傳統教學,英文比津校深,有朋友仔仔讀緊,功課不太多,可以應付到,至於SLS比較少人提,可能因為中學俾政府Downgrade佐有一班要用中文教學,便相變非全英中所致,但也有朋友捨RC選SLS,貪SLS小班教學.

According to last year, there will be group interview only, and without 2nd interview, no need to interview parent etc.

但早前中學部接受星島訪問, 話已去信給教育局堅持每級4班並以英文教學, 所以應該唔會變非英中lor

我記得係話佢自願減班, 咁就梗係減左中文果班, 所以變成 得4 班英文, 又可以上返車??

係減少咗一班,變全英.沒有中文班

但中學部既學生穿着好隨意,校服波鞋(不是配黑皮鞋),可打呔,可不打呔..........唔知校風好唔好

打呔 = S6/S7 students

不打呔 = S1-S5 students

this applies to summer time only, in winter time, all students wear ties

There were not that many application forms....does this mean completion is lower?  does this mean school is not as welcome by parents?  does this mean we pick the "right" school for our sons? ????

去年是一大班小朋友在課室中畫畫, 玩積木, 其實是觀察小朋友有無霸道的行為.

個別見老師時都是問普通生活上的常識, 細節不記得了

聖類斯中學 (最後一次公佈6科14分佔42.9%)

That was the "unlucky" year in 2007 with the below par result in HKCEE.  The percentage is 51.1% in 2008 and 55.1% in 2009.  Haven't got the latest 2010 update yet in the annual report.
