SSCPS Second Interview

在上星期我都有打了幾個電話給5間學校問second interview安排，SSCPS的員工真的好有禮貌，她的態度總算為天使的聲音，叫人聽得舒服，因為其他4間學校的態度真的大大不同。坦白說，SSCPS都說不出怎麼具體資料或日期，最起碼都叫申請人有一份被尊重的感覺。

Are you sure? This is not what we were told by the school last week. Could you please ask your friend to confirm when the interview will be held? Any relationship?

Did your friend also receive a phone call prior to the receipt of the letter?

the 2nd interview is scheduled on 15 Nov, no relationship.  Her 1st interview is on 9 Oct early morning.

我知道SSCPS校長會好認真選擇2nd interview名單，校務處話一有時間就安排面試，每次不一定見太多人。

有些SSCPS家長話每個2nd interview都好誠懇，旨在給雙方機會彼此了解。我比較喜歡這種形式，至少學校和申請人都可深入一些，有利大家考慮這個選校選生的决定。

校長Agnes WAI在briefing都強調會盡量review申請人的portfolio和school report card，希望可以更全面評估小朋友的能力。如果她真的做得到，我就更加欣賞SSCPS了。

我同意申請SSCPS時實在要有超級耐性，絕對巧驗信心，我都希望SSCPS可以改善這個情況。坦白說，這種面試形式，對SSCPS不利，因為肥水已入別人田。

不過，我都參加過其他interviews，家長和小朋友都只得5至10分鐘時間，太過濫竽充數啊。Interviews後都不知道成功機會有多少。結果，由2nd interview到出結果，又是一個等字，或再加一個估字。SSCPS的等和其他學校的等，不相伯仲。

想深一層，其實家長都有好多不同選擇，此家不成往別家。最壞打算，努力到明年8-9月罷！在12月前收到offer(s)，都不一定是最終决定。畢竟，人望高處，水往低留嘛！最重要清楚哪裡屬於小朋友的高處及家長所能付出的高處條件。

Those who have received the letters/calls for second interview, please indicate if you live on HK Island / Kowloon side / NT side.

I have a gut feeling that only HK side students got the invitation for second interview.

I received the letter for second interview too by end Nov 2010. So thankful to the Lord. I live in NT.
Any ideas what the format of the second interview will be?
