I guess youma will be amused to see your "big finding". I, on the other hand, believe only people who use multiple accounts in a forum would have this kind of a mindset.

講真, 有邊間直私私校唔想收多些家庭背景好的學生?!問題是, 唔係好多間有兩拔咁高的吸引力!


我是否bad mouth 兩拔, 看來不是重點.

說穿了, 似乎是那些認定自己兒子全憑入拔的家長, 認為我贬低了他們公子的實力.

結果是：
有的：一間也沒有
有的：亦有多間offer
有的：介乎兩者之間
原因是資質及性格各有不同（全軍x沒的是不愛出聲，不打招乎，沒有眼神接觸又不多笑容的孩子）
所以各BK家長：最重要是小朋友的資質>家長的教育程度＞資源金錢這兩天到男拔註冊的家長衣著亦是非常普通
何必為入不到心儀的學校 而找多的是的理由
原因就在家長面前的小孩

Ask you back:
can you tell us your education level & family background (financial, status& fame) that you emphasizedall all the time  is the mostimportant factor for DB or DG,

BTW, How do you think about SPCC then?
Money?

We put SPCC at 1st place as yours rationle.
However parents' mistake lead to our kid's rejection by SPCC.
And this is the only rejection among 10 schools we applied.

而且, 考咁多間唔同地區唔同理念嘅小學, 為乜? 咁多間面試又冇撞時間, 又幾[好彩]喎.

再者, 好少見小一家長咁show-off.

不禁令人懷疑, 究竟這是一位小一家長, 還是開面試班/補習班出來搵食?
愈來愈有趣了.

My friend's kid is a good example this yr.

I just would like parents to share their tips in entering DGS and DGS. Yet some people like them more than others. That's normal. We don't have to debate which school is better as different parents may have different considerations, as well as different kids tend to have different characters.

We better live and discuss in peace as a good role model for our kids. As this is just a discussion forum, I guess different's people's perspective and viewpoint deserve to be respected.

Really and sincerely would like to see more parents sharing their way over the last few years to reach the result they got today. It shall benefit many forthcoming parents.

The world has been changing. Maybe, we are in an age of "New Normal". Education is nowadays a product or commodity that possesses in itself some sort of value regarding branding. Choosing a school is no longer based on the fundamental needs but on the social image of the school. I think this is why there are so many differences and comparisons among various schools that have been posted on BK.

But Why?? HK education system has been evolving unknowingly from the early simple Chinese/English stream to banding system (1,2,3,4,5, etc) and now towards "branding" which is where we are now. The only purpose is to differentiate among students as to who are eligible for higher education and who are not. But looking at our young people, the un-employment rate for them is so high, at least much much higher than the reported 4.x%. Why? I think that there could be something wrong with what people are actually thinking about education, branding not the actual knowledge based itself. .....
