重讀k2定係升k3?

Frankly speaking, if the school suggested to repeat ...the performance must be much much below average. It si better off to get better prepared before get to K3 and later P1 ..

My understanding is that DSS/private school will pick up the smart one and they don't care the age. However, 大B or 超大B have certain advantage. Please aware that some schools such as DBS only admit children with birthdayfrom 1st Jan to 31st Dec. of the corresponding year, ie, 超大B are not qualifed for application. But for some schools such as PC, they only accept age from 1 Sept to31 August, ie, small B are not qualified.
For lucky draw, no problem for  超大B  or samll B.

This is the requirement 3 years ago... not sure if this still apply..I remember the talk from the pricipal "this is to avoid submission for application two times..when he is small B and super big B later". Please double check.

剛剛 call DBS 小學部(tel 3159 4200), 沒有這樣的限制。  請問你能否公開更多資料？

You can find a boy school for boy => no need to consider this factor.

I think boys definetly develop later than girls. I think I perfer them as a big boy. So I will consider repeating my older son in K2.

No need to worrry too much on repeating K2 or K3. Most primary schools only interested:

1) the age meet their requirement
2) the performance of the  kid at that point of time

However, it may be easier to get a place at K2 than K3 for most kindergartens.
