In this coming year (i.e. 2011/12), there are 2 am class pn but just only 1 pm class pn.  

When these kids go to K1, there will be 1 C/E class and 1 P/E class in am, the pm class will be P/E.  So, it would be even lower chance to get a place in K1 am P/E class than this year.

Yes, the first 6 books in Stage 1 (i.e. those in the order form for PN) has no words, only pictures.  The order form is only given to parents at the beginning of the school year, i.e. the next time that it would be given to parents for odering would be at the beginning of K1.  三聯 is offering a 10% discount now, but ordering from school is even cheaper.  If you are interested in the Oxford Reading Tree Series, you can also take this chance to order the books for K1 in the order form.  There is continuous price increment in bookstores as far as I am aware.

Both of my kids are studying in LH (HL campus).  This school really gave me more than I expected.  The school also provides A LOT of support for preparation for primary 1 interview.  You can go to the school website to browse the primary school placement results for the three campus of LH.  There are also some previous discussions regarding the 海逸 campus in Baby Kingdom that I think you need to consider.
