你就好啦！我呢d都是靠運氣同眼緣多！我下星期interview了，算係遲那round, 希望ok啦！
隨著日子過，期望越大，但信心就越低…

My son was lucky enough to get a second in. I don't have any additional mark. It's so competitive to get a second in so I was very happy for him to reach this stage. No (or low) expectation for the result.

有 second in 就有機會喇。要記住其實 in DBS 同 in coed 嘅有部份係同一班人，所以如果佢哋 coed 收左，DBS 個位就會放番出嚟。而 coed 星期一已經已收左人，有 D 收左嘅家長會唔去 in DBS，亦有 D 以玩票性質去 in，依一部份嘅人就算收都唔會去 DBS。你唔好 no expectation 住。

I always hear that for a lot of schools, the last interviewee on the last day of interview gets the place.

Thanks a lot for your encouragement. What I meant was I would take the result very easy. No pressure for myself and my son.

準則係old boys, siblings, christian屬於有關係,
會加10%分數, 但係咪是但一樣已經有10%就唔清楚!

我地都係百冇人士, 唔知有冇奇蹟呢...

If the kids have connection is >150, then we almost have no chance.

Based on what happened in the previous years, there should still be a few seats for the kids with no connection to compete. We still have a chance but just don't expect too much.

I think so as "connection" is not counted in the first interview.

50 marks - 2nd in
5 marks - portfolio
10 marks - connections, i.e. religion/siblings/old boy

唔駛奇蹟嘅，邊有咁多old boy吖，我自己做仔當年都係百冇，咪又係入到。
不過以前都冇諗過會入到，心情應該同妳地差唔多，抱住見識嘅心態去交表，點知又有2nd in喎，又諗住要贏人十分好難啦，點知又有offer，咁係個仔努力得返黎，（因1St 2nd都係in佢之麻，我地果1分鐘算把啦），咁就讀啦。
其實大家可以估計下，喇沙年年都係自行時得40-50個必收生，係相同情況下，我相信DB個數字都係差唔多，所以仲有好多機會嘅，宜家係度讀緊嘅，都唔係好多old boy黎，不過入面真係好多叻仔。

距離出結果仲有3個星期, 心情真係一日比一日緊張, 倒數中, 希望大家都可以16/12前收到good news: : :
