我沒有深究有什麼分別,比賽實在太多了. 有些是學校推薦去比賽的, 老師說去的就去吧.

「2012香港小學數學精英選拔賽」

should have high reputation, but it is for P.6 students only.

Competitions which require school nomination or limit number of participants  / teams normally have better reputation, because they do not aim at earning application fee.Other competitions are still good for practices. Competition experiences are important for young kids.

*I am not a parent but a university student. I was active in Olympiad Mathematics competition when I was in Primary 6 to Form 3, later turned to be a part-time private tutor in this area for students. Feel free to share and exchange ideas.
Please note that I am not advertising for myself. Just have some personal thoughts for primary students learning Olympiad Maths. Learning Olympiad Maths in small group/ class (like 4 - 10, depending on level, the higher level the fewer student for favorable class size) is good for regular learning because it allows group learning and interaction, where students can learn from each other, as well as having collaboration in problem-solving and some mini-competitions. However, 1-to-1 teaching is preferred for competition preparation or intensive learning because the teacher can figure out the difficulties or problems of the student promptly and guide him or her step by step.
For reference, price (depending on level, class size, reputation) for small class is $110-200/hour while 1-to-1 teaching is $150- 300/hour. It's better to have teacher experienced in participating or organizing (setting questions) Olympiad Mathematics competitions.

唔好意思, 咁遲先睇到.
我終於知道點解呀仔個張係影印本, 原來佢地學校代表啲準考証要6張貼在一起, 老師將正本交了給另外一位同學, 但又沒有跟我們說, 所以有此誤會.

應不要在乎真的, 假的, 只是給小朋友增加比賽的機會.

「香港小學數學創意解難比賽」比賽的對象是校隊.

參賽資格

1. 以學校為單位，每間學校只能派出一隊隊伍參賽。

2. 每隊必須有四人。
3. 參賽學生必須是小四至小六學生，各級人數不限。例如一隊中可有以下不同的組合：
(a) 兩名小五學生和兩名小六學生;
(b) 三名小四學生和一名小六學生;
(c) 四名小六學生;
(d) 兩名小四學生和兩名小五學生;
(e) 一名小五學生和三名小六學生生和三名小六學生。
