Obvious the author is a traditional mum,otherwise she would not have been bothered the mid term exams. My daughter is also in year 7 and I must admit I have never helped her to revise.
I think it is her responsibility to do the revision not ours. This is also a good time to train them to be independant and responsible.
We can never please everyone I suppose although I still prefer one exam a year I must admit.
I do agree and prefer one exam per year. But we do need to face the fact that all our kids need to join the HKDSE, so we really need a bit more practice for the exam. Besides the academic level, they still need exam skill. so after all, I do don't mind to have 2 exams per year, still not bad.
I donot mind either, it is just that if you ask if what I prefer, I would prefer 1 exam a year that is all.
Afterall, one more exam a year creates a lot of work to teachers, and it must be really good for students or necessary if they go thru all these troubles.
