My boy have second interview on Mid of Apr. I know he didn't do very well in the interview.

Do you mean that the interview in KJS is "wait list interview" , i.e. even your kid passed the interview, they will still put on waiting list?

Yes, the first letter already said that we were not guaranteed a place even if we pass the interview.  Now we have passed the interview so now on wait list...

Any parent could share the exprience of the chance to accept by school after 2nd interview? My boy got a 2nd interview letter.

Got the RC waiting list letter today, my child is from ESF Wu Kai Sha (Cat 2)
Wondering what's the difference between 2nd interview letter and waiting list letter?
Waiting list letter mean no need 2nd interview when places become available?

I am referring to the situation in RC.

"Reject Letter" that means your kid has failed in the interview.

There is a waiting list with priority in school admin and they would call the one on the list once some places are released.

2nd interview was conducted around April last year, kind of second chance for the siblings. However, I heard that many siblings got offer this year in this morning.  So maybe no need to conduct 2nd interview for them this time.

I see.  It's different for the case in SJS.  We are not informed we will be on waiting list at the time of interview.  
Maybe it means that my girl failed the interview.

My friend got the letter from RC stating that her younger daughter will be given a guranteed interview in 2013/14.  Her elder daughter is already in RC.  Does anybody receive same letter?  Does anybody know whether it will be high chance for her younger daughter to be admitted for 2013/14?  Thanks for the advice.

Of course your friend's younger daughter would have a guaranteed interview.  She has sibling priority!  But the younger sibling would still have to pass the interview to get a solid offer.

Hi kittymommie, mind to share why you would prefer RC?  Not that I have a choice right now.  But if I decide to stick with KJS, I would have to forfeit the position at RC and wait for KJS' further notifications.  It's a bit risky in this sense.

Is there a distinct advantage for RC over KJS besides, newer campus, have traditional Chinese and going IB all the way?

Good for me.? Of course 2nd interview is better than reject straight away, but it also mean another very stressful two months. Any parents could share the experience of 2nd interview? We only applied two school, one is Esf one is DC, DC even don't give us an interview. Just wonder is it too late to apply other int. school?

My friend's younger daugher already attended the P1 interview this year, but she received the letter yesterday stating that her development was not yet ready for P1 2012/13, so she is given the guaranteed interview for 2013/14.  That's why my friend is wondering whether her younger daughter will have high chance to be admitted after she attended the interview in 2013/14.
