I visited both agency "Hok Luen" & "Dadi" previously and I thought Hok Luen explained to me very clearly the options, whereas I thought Dadi staff had a terrible attitude, the UK systems have both the State Schools (Day & Boarding) and you must hold British Citizenship (British passport) or EU passport to be entilted to enter these, then there is the State Colleges better known as Further Education (FE) Colleges for post 16+ students to enter and these offer A levels, Foundation and Vocational courses...FE Colleges accept fee paying international students and also if you are an EU passport holder, these FE Colleges might accept you as a local student, this depends on their "so called" quota system, you can claim OEA on these FE Colleges....Of course, there is the private Independent Boarding schools and the vast majority of these schools will have their own Entrance exams to admit students so in a way they are selective schools...UK have lots of options for Hong Kong students...Some university Foundation courses accept Form 5 students and some accept Form 6 students so the best thing would be to speak to an Agent and ask them about their services and charges etc, you have every right to choose and get the best advice for your child...I hope this is helpful...Thank you

agents 日前介紹一般是9,000-11,000 /term的學校, 現找到一些7,xxx ranking around 100 的, 因是Year 9,漫長歲月。Around 21,000/year 真的少，是否很遠?

是男仔還是女仔?
如果成績中上的話, 都有一些around 6,000 - 6,500的
ranking 1xx - 2xx 可選擇.

男仔,選了一間已考試,在約100到排名,Year 9學費within 7000/term, 之後貴D,暫時都等通知。

各位好
我個仔今年F5，一樣成績麻麻..剛去完25-26/2英國教育展兼考埋試，考兩間兩間都話他英文程度低到不得了，及他成個牛奶仔咁..叫他頭一年去讀英文課程兼適應當地生活。第二&三年讀ALEVEL..
收他的1.ABBEY DLD GROUP OF COLLEGE(私校)2.BASTON COLLEGE(政府)。大家知此兩間好嗎?或有更適合提供嗎?
如依 mcew 所言，入讀寄宿學校的話不是一過到去就入ALEVEL，又要學英文又要拼命學科學習又要適應生活..應付到?所以想聽聽你過來人的意見

各位！下年打算送女兒到英國讀書，但費用十分貴，因經濟能力，想入政府學校，請問政府學校的情況，是否不是全日上課，好像本地的現代，遵理一樣上一課停一課，另外agent介紹了兩所學校，是collyer's college and Richard huish college ，請問這兩所學校的校風及排名，謝謝！

你女兒是持英藉護照（British Passport)或其他歐洲國家的䕶照嗎？持BNO或特區頀照是不能入謮政府學校的。（有錯請更正）

pigpigjackey所說的"政府學校"，是供16歲以上人士入讀的持續教育學院，並不是中學，international student 是要交學費的，但這些college學費一般較英國私立中學(independant school)平宜，提供英語、A-level和foundation等課程。
而Inmami所說的是"英國公立中學"(state school)，很少學校有寄宿設備，只有持英國和歐盟護照才能入讀，不收學費，只收宿費。有些state schools會來港面試，例如Old Swinford Hospital.

Both Collyer's College and Richard Huish College 都是government further education college, 政府學校但不是"公立學校(state school), 所以持有BNO或HKSAR都可入讀.
Collyer's College 係位於東南部West Sussex郡的Horsham, 離London一個小時的火車車程. 我兒子就讀放另一所位於Horsham的私校Christ's Hospital, 所以對此區較熟悉. Horsham治安不錯, 很平靜的一個小鎮, Collyer's也有小量香港人, 他們都住在local host family.

Richard Huish College我不熟悉, 位於西南部Somerset, 離倫敦較遠

小兒正計劃下年到英國讀year 9，現考慮king's school (Canterbury)及 Christ's Hospital，但未決定邊間較好，想問問你兒子就讀Chris's Hospital環境及情況如何，音樂上是否出色。另外，所有費用大約1個Term幾錢，多謝解答！
