我同老公正在為選校而煩惱，可否請大家幫幫忙俾啲意見。

我先生prefer聖心因為覺得他們嘅德育做得較好，而我prefer SPK因我覺得車程較短(只需十分鐘, 聖心要二十分鐘車程)及校舍大。

你們會選那一間呢？

Yipapa Congrat with the happy problem. Larger Compus in SPK is becasue it comprises, 2 KG, Prim & Second, For SH, its second is in Aberdeen. Both are anyway excellent. It is a pick between the Best 2 發表於 12-3-9 18:14

你地小朋友真係好叻叻呀, 兩間都係好好既學校, 純綷路過參與下, 我會揀SPK, 因為校舍環境好D, 小朋友返學都會返得開心D...

bb2604 Actually, if you aim at going to SH primary, the campus is very small and even the playground is quite small!! For Catholic environment, I like SPCS better as singing hymns and praying every day. 發表於 12-3-9 23:06

by the way, there is a higher chance to go to their secondary school for spk than sh

如果我是你，我會選聖心。我有時覺得選學校好像選醫生，最重要是信任和信心。既然你先生對聖心的德育較有信心，不妨聽他的意見。你關注的兩個問題：（1）車程二十分鐘其實都算近，如果要過海，花一小時就確實不值得要小朋友捱；（2）校舍，你覺得spk大可能是因為幼兒園都連在一起，spk和聖心的班房都差不多大，聖心的空氣較好。希望你會選到自己覺得合適的。

阿女有個男同學，佢妹妹考到spk同sh,最後揀左sh,佢既原因都係話sh德育好好，而且課程冇spk咁淺

I think it'd better to consider the locations of the respective Primary and Secondary schools as well.

兩間我都覺得係好好既學校. 不過SPK一路都係直資, 直上既機會係咪大D呢?

同埋聖心中學係置富又真係好遠.....

我無報SPK，但如果我遇上要選擇，而HB又“有”SAY既話，佢一定想我選SH！
因為佢有一次去SH交文件，遇上SH小朋友準備上課，佢話D小朋友根本唔識佢，但好多都主動好有禮貌咁叫“叔叔早晨”。佢因為咁，而覺得學校教小朋友的水準很IMPRESSED！

真係唔易揀呢！
不過我相信大部分人都會揀spk...不過SHCK 亦有其優勝之處.....

我都有此煩惱。大女响聖心畢業，我同意德育好好。但聖保祿既口碑都好好，我又心儀佢既小學、中學

Depends on the character of the girl. SPK = more outgoing type. SH = not so outgoing type

咁如果較被動嘅小朋友入了 SPK, 會唔會唔適應，學校又唔like, 最後被讙退?

我都想我的囡囡主動啲，如果 SPK 能將我囡囡訓練得主動啲，或最少唔會因為佢性格較被動就放棄佢，就最好了。

In my opinion. Both schools are very similar. It is not so much difference as like e.g. St Catherine vs SPK/SHCK.

Those like "active" or "passive" girls are without much evidence (even if really present, is not significant) and just subjective impression of different parents. I won't choose school simply base on this criteria.

Both schools are good. Your girl is lucky to get both. The major difference is primary and secondary; in particular SH secondary is govt subsidized and located in Pokfulam. I think you should consider along this direction.

Yes, this is another consideration.

SH has cheap secondary education, but the price to pay is need to fight for a secondary seat.
