Do you mean advancing from YWPS?  They are through-train schools - if your son can satisfy the minimum requirements set by YWPS, his place will be guaranteed.

Wenjo, try to ask the school on the parents' orientation day.  I suppose it should be one of the considerations in deciding to join YW initially - if the threshold is too high, the chance of advancement may be lowered.

What is the passing mark? B- is how many marks？

Is the HKDSE result published for the college yet?  How is their result this year?

thomasha  Note that YWPS became a DSS only 4 years ago and all current students of YWC were admitted under the govt's allocation system. HKDSE results for now may not reflect the quality of recent YWPS intakes   發表於 13-2-18 14:07

What will happen to the rest (10%)? They have to look for DSS or private secondary schools or can they join the central allocation in Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System 中學學位分配?
