雖然係淺, 但我女真係數好差呢, 考小六中一數都得六十幾分(佢現在讀中二)
佢最近in過2間,學校來港招生, 都話佢英文唔錯o既

衍生另外一個問題, 比佢入到st cat st swithun都驚讀唔到,
因數學 science 差, 佢讀唔惦phy chem bio
又係另一個擔心!!

你叫agent再建議多些學校給你選擇。如你沒有貶低你家小孩的數學和科學成績，咁就要再三考慮是否報讀如St Swithun's , St Catherine's和Headington等名校。恕我直言，機會很渺茫。

我係實話實說，但佢亦而進步，揀呢三間都係因為agent可以幫我先問學校。考入學試一來未必有機會，二來亦唔平，所以都係係度聽多d意見，就好似你講咁，機會渺茫，都係一個參考的意見呢

我都有幫亞女申請這兩間，係2013年嘅year9，等緊考試。暑假會去learning centre上extrance exam預備班。

我原來的計劃不是下年走，也不是去英國，所以一切變到安排不足。

你係九龍區上考試預備班嗎？

不用擔心，英國的A很易攞，IGCSE數學有60分左右已可能取得A grade! 40分左右已取得B grade，science subjects 70分已取得A grade!

英國的A實在太多，抽得出還是揀ranking高的學校讀，名U大多會揀名校生。

係喎(^.^)，我都睇過ranking但實在好多種排序準則，唔知邊個為之準(^.^)所以篩選了之後咪再post問下人意見

i personally have heard of burgess hill / headington and bath royal high..

my gf is from bath RH

and i know Emma Watson is from headington , she got offers from famous uni (but prob partly due to her popularity)

heyy I'm actually an old girl from St. Catherine's School! The teachers are amazing and the school fee should probably be the cheapest among the group.  I would say St Cat's is really good if you want your daughter to mingle well if the locals because they don't accept many overseas people (when I was there the number was kept to about 10 across all the years and there were me and another girl who went to GSIS only in my year).

Hi Ellen, would you mind to tell which grade did you join in St. Cat's ?  Do you mean 10 overseas students in the whole school?  How is the learning culture there?   Sorry for the number of questions I have and appreciate your inputs in advance.

Headington School and St. Swithun's School are the best from the list!

Why not consider these schools?
1. Chelt. Ladies' College
2. Wycombe Abbey School (top-notch)
3. Badminton School
4. Withington Girl's School
5. Brighton College (Co-ed)
