How did you all feel after the interview on 3 Nov 2012?  I just found out that there will be a 2nd interview if your child is shortlisted for the 2nd round.  Anyone know when we will come to find out about the 2nd interview - will everyone be notified whether shortlisted or not?  What is the format of the second interview from prior year?

My daughter ignored the teacher when she asked her questions while she was playing...

I was impressed by the language proficiency of all the teachers i have met on 3rd Nov. However, the school environment was disapointing. For the school fee Victoria has been charging the parents, I am sure they can invest more on the maintainence or move the school to a better place.

Same here, I quite like the teachers there.  In terms of school environment it's not too bad, but there are of course areas for improvement. Any ideas on when we would be notified if our child is shortlisted?  And also the format of 2nd interview?

Oh. You should pay St Carherine's a visit and you will find out CWB Victoria is already a very decent place

Can you please share what makes you so disappointing? Have you visited the whole school campus? In terms of location, I do like it very much since it is very close to MTR station.

According to the notice, "the 2nd interview will be arranged within 2 weeks after the 1st interview, parents concerned will be informed individually".

I won't have the 2nd interview, the teacher passed me a notice for waiting the result on 30 November after the 1st assessment. I checked with her for the 2nd interview, she said no need for my son.  I don't know whether my son has been "certified" or not .

P.S. My son studies PG in Victoria, the assessment was done during PG.

As far as I know, not all students need to go through the second interview. If the kid performs very well (or very bad on the contrary) in the first interview, then one interview is enough.  They only invite some potential candidates that they are unsure of and give the kids one more chance to perform.

What stream (Trilingual or Eng/PTU) did you apply? Does anyone know their criteria for selecting candidates? Family background or kid performance?

For us, we seldom take mtr. We drive, so if there is a traffic jam, we gonna get stuck in causeway bay for at least half an hour before we hit the highway.

As for the campus, it's facing the back windows of the old residential apartment.  its like all cooking smell and funny smell from those drains amd pipes. Plus, the playground is horrible. Its like an animal cage.

Do you mean there are two kinds of notice? One is 2nd in, One is wait for result before 30/11?

Same here......the teacher said shortlisted candidates will get notification on or before 30 Nov for a second interview.

I thought there is no 1st interview for Vic playgroup students.  Only 1 interview is required for their playgroup students.

Have you visited the hall on the 3rd floor and the playground on the rooftop? They also have a library on the 4th floor. however, i agree that the view, room size, and the playground on the ground floor, etc are not as nice as other kinders. for me, i don't think they overcharge the parents but it all depends on what you want for your child.
