How would you pick - 維多利亞 Vs one dragon schools like St Clare, Sacred Heart and True light?

But don't know the results yet for Truelight, Sacred Heart, St Paul Convent, St. Clare........some not even apply....but for Victoria, need to pay $9000 registration fee now and not refundable...

Why is Sacred Heart considered good?  Feedback doesn't seem good especially their way of teaching.

Sacred Heart:  Teaching method traditional, heard that the teachers do not listen much to parents' opinions and comments, punish style teaching so that the child feels ashamed if they did something wrong (e.g. stand on a dot at a particular spot in front of other children)....good thing is it is one dragon and good banding.
Victoria:  Good language environment, open style and happy style learning, but some parents seem to say that the syllabus seems a bit "HEA" and need to spend a fortune for tuitions.  And again need to go through lucky draw if not go for their primary.  Even if their primary, has to go for interview.

firstly i dont believe sacred heart canossian kindergarten is of the "punish style" as you said. the primary school maybe, it was my experience in the good old days.

Secondly if you eventually will target at the traditional primary schools, why dont you try your best to enter their dragon kinder now?

if you totally reject the so called punish style teaching method, you are bound to go for international schools or the like.

同意樓上所講， TARGET傳統小學，龍校係不二之選。

My daughter is studying at Sacred Heart Kindergarten, definitely not "punish style". You should check with parents of Sacred Heart to get more info about the school.

My girl is at SHCK too.  The school is not "punish" style.  For any misconduct happens, they'll discuss the underlying reason and figure out the solution with parents.  The school is always welcome for parents' comment.  That's the reason why SH has PTA and there are improvements for current year's application arrangement.

維記其實係我top five choice, 不過有些心儀龍校未in末有結果...
放棄維記又唔想但如果比咗$9000之後有龍校收又好唔低...
因為$9000係non-refundable...畢業先比番！
大拿拿$9000喎!

使到小朋友唔敢再做..小朋友亦因為咁害怕

頭先上維記WEBSITE睇， CWB升小一都好多入左傳統名校。龍校優勝係有一間唔錯小學做back up， 唔駛到時又四圍考學校(provided that你滿意間小學）。
或者可以search一下龍校升小一比例， 唔係間間都100﹪直入， 自己衡量兩邊再作決定。

你都說係聽返來，都唔知係咪。如果你打算讀傳統小學，又有咁出名的龍校收，梗係讀龍校，但你預左聖心會嚴d, 所以佢地學生會乖d, 成績亦好。有朋友個女讀st Paul's convent, 小朋友唔叫校長早晨，仲駁咀，老師會搵家長傾，你話呢類學校係咪free就一定唔係，但佢地咁教小朋友唔係錯。我諗除非你個女屬於曳女，唔係應該冇乜問題，否則就見家長多過食飯。唔使煩中小學係好吸引，就算收唔晒都叫有機會直升，何況你提的都係好學校。

同意你的説法但維說沒有統計給家長自行分配或統一派位...扣門...etc,.

我班就無發生過此情況。如小朋友犯錯班主任會打比家長，等家長配合在家中輔導。

不過，我個人係prefer管教嚴、紀律嚴嘅學校，就算犯錯企圓點個人認為無問題，唔教點會乖點會聽話。

所以，揀學校要配合返你自己在家中嘅教育模式同理念。
