第一階段，約佔50﹪，30﹪必收生，20﹪計分。第二階段係靠抽。叩門位不列入上述學位，叩門位係留班位，原先比學校預留比留班生，所以學校可自行選取喜歡既外來生。通常得十個八個，但爭既人隨時幾百個。

I understand....so if there were 100 students .....1st stage: Out of this 50% - 30% is a must be admitted to the school?  What does that mean?  How can it be 必收生?  And then remaining 20% is based on point system.

you must be new to Hong Kong.
Must admitted are those who have an older sibling studying in the same school camous. or those who have parents working in the school. or the parent is the school supervusir etc.

現行的小一入學機制，分為「自行分配學位」和「統一派位」兩個階段：
自行分配學位
每所官立及資助小學會將其全部小一學額的大約50%作為「自行分配學位」之用。在「自行分配學位」階段，家長可替其子女向一間位於任何小一學校網的官立或資助小學，遞交小一入學申請表，申請該校的自行分配學位。自行分配學位分為兩類：

甲. 供有兄／姊在該小學就讀或父／母在該小學就職的申請人的學位
約佔學校小一學額30%
未能用盡的學額，學校可根據「計分辦法準則」自行分配
如有不足之數，以原本預留作統一派位的學額填補
凡屬此類別的申請人，必獲取錄

乙. 根據「計分辦法準則」分配的學位
佔學校小一學額不少於20%
若申請人數超出其學位數目時，須按照下列「計分辦法準則」甄選學生：
一.父／母全職在與該小學同一校址的幼稚園或中學部工作        (20分)
二.兄／姊在與該小學同一校址的中學部就讀        (20分)
三.        父／母為該小學的校董        (20分)
四.        父／母或兄／姊為該小學的畢業生        (10分)
五.首名出生子女
﹙即為家庭各子女中最年長者﹚        (5分)
六.與該校的辦學團體有相同的宗教信仰 #        (5分)
七.        父／母為該小學主辦社團的成員        (5分)
八.適齡的兒童﹙即翌年九月開課時年滿5歲8個月至7歲﹚        (10分)
# 在遞交申請表前，家長宜直接向申請的學校查詢有關「相同宗教」的定義。
註： 申請人只能在第（一）至第（五）項中選一項填報；而在第（六）至第（七）項中，亦只能申報其中一項。所有申報的關係必須證明屬實，才可以獲得有關分數。

如果係維記和二線半龍校，你又會點選擇，我個係仔，港島無乜好龍男校，我覺得維記教學上比到我信心，但半龍就可大減上小學的壓力

if you are hsppy with or target St Clares primary and secondsry  take their offer now.  you will be able to save a lot $$$ because St Clares kinder is much much much cheaper.
........
you can use the money saved to go on annual famiky trips.....

worst case is having paid high Victoria tuition for three years and then end up not scoring Marymount and going back to.St Clares ....

bear in mind that most St Clare kids promotes to.Primary abd not many vacancies are left
