Same for others KG, if you want the good result for applying P1 (DSS / Private school), you must has the training at home. Reading habit is important.

LH is continuing changing in their syllabus. Due to high competition for applying P1, they start to do Chinese Comprehension in K2 (2nd semester). Before, this exercise started from K3 (1st semester) per my understanding. Also, I like that we have chance to talk to the principal and reflect your though on the teaching. The school affair is transparent.

For applying P1, the school supports the parent a lot, KG will arrange a lot of visits to Primary schools like CKY, SFA, WKF........ You don't need wait the public sections. SFA only give the briefing to LH's parenets this year.

ST CAT will not arrange school visit for applying P1 purpose.

I love LH becasue the school will do the research on the trend and improve themselves. The training on Sat (1.5 hrs) is starting from May - mid Jul and Aug-Sep, around 24 classes, mixed with classmates from different classes and teachers to create the simarlar environments like P1 interview.

Regarding the content, it's not easy. The principal said if the child has the desire to looking for more or discussing with you. Then it's OK. My feeling is same because there's no pressure on the exam. But, the parents may need to explore with kids.

校舍應該海逸最正，無敵海景。凱帆就有戶外場，青衣應該係最細亦無室外場。但青衣係始創校，校長由十年前帶 ...

我係凱帆校既K3家長.凱帆校有海景+ outdoor playground, 真係幾好0架.
其實係K2 下學期開始有啟迪班 (面試班). 出年3月會有考完小一既家長分享會, 你地到時記得參加, d 資料非常有用.
學校係安排左好多直資私校簡介會, 我覺得校長們真係好有心去安排呢類活動, 唔駛同人逼就可以參觀TSL, PK, SFA, 真道, WKF......仲有機會睇埋d小學生上堂實況, 真係非常難得.

之不過, 如果目標係女拔, ST Cat 入女拔比例始終會高d.
但如果目標係CKY, WKF, SFA 果類學校, 我就唔覺分別好大.
樓主真係要自已衡量啦.
