幾好的總結。記得我第一次接觸 kindle 由 Amazon  order 的，送到的時候我一開盒，見到 kindle 面有一指示如何差電，又有張膠紙，我撕下膠紙，猛然發覺那充電指示其實是 kindle 顯示來的，根本不是印在膠紙。

係，忘了說 Kindle 只在轉頁時用電，非常環保。我用阿女張相做  wallpaper, 唔睇書時就是一個型仔黑白相架！

All kindle e-ink models have indirect light, which is what you have in printed books.

建議你先上amazon看kindle款式及基本資料，然後去書展的kindle展銷攤位看實物應用會令你更具體明白，有問題也可即場弄清。最後才決定要否購買及從何途徑購買。

Kindle itself is the brand name , registered under Amazon.

Other brands of e-ink readers include Nook, Kobo and Sony ebook readers.  
You can search for "kindle vs nook vs kobo..." for comparisons, here are some:

有 kobo ebook, 有 nook ebook，偏係無 kindle ebook

感覺上好似kindle 更鼓勵 reading eng books(因有很多free books to download) ，兒童中文書是否很少有free book ?
我怕令小朋友只著重睇英書，請用家分享。

我個仔英文書在 kindle 看，中文書睇實體書。Kindle 不能帶回校，所以帶中文書返學睇，kindle 係屋企㷛。

去Project Gutenberg 看看，有經典免費中文書，故事書不多。免費，睇開D。
