I know your friend told you so.  But I have the following doubt.

另外又有家長聽朋友說 "School Admin told my friend 10% WAITING get call for 2nd Interview and some already got Conditional Offer......" 這個some是指first waiting 2nd interview 或者 waiting 2nd interview? 是否傳話中途有誤解?  School Admin (接電話的工作人員)又是否肯定知道有offer的是從waiting來?

以我多年接觸的school admin，我有理由懷疑他們是不是很清楚收生詳情。如果這話是從戴副校或陳主任口中聽回來，我才會肯定這是真確。

Even though the condition offers have not been confirmed. GT obviously didn't do the way you have suggested, meaning candidates on the waiting list got only 15 points after 2nd interview comparing those candidates on first waiting list with 20 points. This approach was still really unfair to our kids who have been placed on the first waiting a few months ago and parents have already attended 5 lessons.

GT if they are wise enough, should adopted this approach providing a fair enough procedure for the admission.

If so, I share your feeling of unfairness, especially for those parents who feel the seminars are useless.

Thanks for understanding how frustrated and disappointed we are.

I believe that some parents including me, if they have learnt that, would blame themselves by not sending updated information to school in order to help our kids to secure a place. We have just too confident that we would have high chance to be admitted if we have attended all lessons.

In order to attend the lesson monthly, i took taxi from HKIsland south to make sure myself not be late (Coz off around 630pm). However, what we have done was useless.

依家我最嬲係我以為上咗十堂後就有得2nd in，但原來要求位信同update嘅優先in ，仲要連waiting嘅都先過我

而家個問題係就算waiting 個D update 資料比學校，學校都應該in 左f.waiting D人而真係一個都唔arm 先再開始in waiting 個D lor,咁一係你就唔好分倆邊乜鬼f.waiting 要上堂，又要夠8成出值率wor! 你估真係好buy 你D人講嘢咩！我當就算有人話waiting 個D in 完係轉左f.waiting又要上堂，咁始終對於我們f.waiting 仲未收過 call 2nd in 個D係超級唔公平！太失望了！ 利申:我有2nd in, 無取錄，但都抱住希望繼續上堂！

係。大慨10月時，我在GT版曾問過GT家長有關waiting問題，有答話上年學校會叫d有哥哥姐姐讀緊既waiting申請者黎2in，可這不是祕密。

我覺得用公屋計分制比喻唔太適合呢。有些學校會特別喜歡某類學生，或有些學校想收運動成績全能兼操行A+既學生，但當然唔大可能盡如學校意啦，你揀人人亦會揀你，所以學校都會盡量平衡它手頭上擁有的，可能係男女比例或學生某方面能力。所以當它失去了某目標學生，自然會再找其適合者填補，當發現了，學校點解唔可以張他upgrade呢? 我之前提過，學校因它本身的限制，亦做唔到叫所有人去聽講座，呢方面係顯易而明的，為何要專登無視呢點呢? 所有唔係做卷的面試，學生面試內容未必一樣，係要計的話都可以話唔公平，點解我囝呢group問題深d? 大學亦有破格收生，你亦可話唔公平。

經過今次事件，學校下回既做法應該會有些少改變，但其實改變好簡單，只要張first waiting人數減少便成，骨子裡是沒有分別的。直私收生根本唔存在公唔公平，最終學校咪又係in 佢想in，收佢想收既。就算政府派位，咪又係有人話唔公平（我覺得公平）？ 先唔好講計分果part，相信大家都好清楚，統一派位是張學生排編號，然後電腦隨機抽no.按序派位。。。即是話如A校有50個位，我no.是揀A校的第49個，那麼是否一定會派入? 未必的，因電腦會預留A校好少量位放在揀A校第二選擇的，即是話第一選擇A校的第49至100都入唔到A校，反而學位會派在第二選擇身上，每年都出現此情況，不滿者更加可以大大力話對第49至100唔公平，但電腦派位根本唔透明，大家冇可能知道自己個no.其實係下一個，連投訴機會都唔會有。到叩門階段，有叩門都可話唔公平，點解唔派埋佢？我明明排緊隊!

仲有一樣野，大家點知upgrade waiting既所有人都冇出席講座? 出席者學校是有keep record 的，學校要遂個case解釋嗎?

當然大家上討論區都係傾下計，發表下意見，我認為唔開心及不滿總會有, 是可以理解，但希望大家可從唔同角度看看。

講漏一點，如果政府將十分既放上去，唔係首先要諗，政府點解咁做呢? 其理由係乜野呢?

看到部分家長對我所報告的資料有所保留，我想聲明一下: 以上問答是我在週四(9 Jan)晚上講座結束後，即9.00pm，在禮堂即時與Ms 戴(副校長)之間的對話。當時也有幾位家長在旁邊至少聽到了我們的大部分內容。
註: 我是first waiting, 至今未收到call. 一直堅持參加講座。
另外忍不住補充一下: 當我質疑學校為被取錄的不夠出席率的waiting作出special arramgement會對一直在聽講座的first waiting造成不公平時，Ms 戴回答説:『大學(生)的出席率不夠，都會有其他解決辦法啦』。Oh, no! 這一點我絕對不認同!!! 這另我對她超級失望!
抱歉，不想給大家帶來煩惱，衹是想講出真像!

我唸唔到用邊個角度去睇呢個安排係对F waiting,而無被invited 2nd in 的申請者係公平。無論要揀乜人，都應該先揀f waiting 先，你in到唔in就判左死刑，合理咩。你唔想收一係就一早reject, 一係就做場戲，條氣都順D。

我都聽到呀副校親口講，心唸，唔夠出席率，考试都無資格la, 重可以pass. 出年retake 請早
