My gal had interview today. She also met Mrs. Dai , then Mrs Hui. The exactly same process as your gal.

We saw the name of Vice Headmistress is Mrs Hui in internet. My gal greeted to her today whilst sat down in the room & my gal said she nodded.

To me, being able to be selected for second interview is already good enough. We all know that "related" candidates always have some advantages, so even if my girl does not get an offer finally, I still think she is smart and will love her as always.
